Stumbled (or, rather, Tumbled) upon this photo of Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe.  This past summer, I visited Tahoe…for the first time.  This past summer, I fell in love…for the first time.  This picture brings back the most bittersweet of memories.  In September, I fearlessly jumped into that ice cold water, swam to that island, and climbed to the top of the tea house.  Although the water temperature cut to the bone, much like the rocks I scaled barefoot in a swimsuit, and much like the ending of that relationship, I wouldn’t have traded that day for anything in the world.
